Job Summary:
The Loan Operations department at Midcap Financial is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Loan Analyst on the Agency Services team. The Loan Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of a portfolio of loans including, but not limited to, the key responsibilities listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Administration: Manage a portfolio of leveraged loans, handling invoicing, payments, and transaction processing with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance.
- Client and Investor Relations: Act as the main point of contact for borrowers and syndicate lenders, addressing inquiries and managing operational aspects of loans.
- Operational Support: Assist in the execution of daily tasks within the pod, contributing to the overall efficiency and performance of the team.
- Process Documentation: Maintain and update reports related to loan servicing activities, ensuring that all data is accurate and up to date.
- Additional Information: This role does not supervise other employees and does not require travel.
Position Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in financial services, preferably in operations.
Professional Knowledge:
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage a high volume of tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with loan management systems.
