Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
- Prepare and review financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budget preparation, variance analysis, and management reporting.
Financial Operations
- Supervise or support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Support cash management and forecasting activities.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to streamline accounting processes.
- Support audits and provide required schedules and documentation.
- Help maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work cross-functionally to provide accounting and financial insights.
- o Serve as a resource and key support for leadership.
- Take ownership of projects and proactively solve accounting or process-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 plus years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills..
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
