This role requires diagnosing mechanical issues using a variety of diagnostic tools and systems, performing necessary repairs including engine, brake, and suspension work, and collaborating within a team while often working independently. The position involves servicing a high volume of vehicles daily and includes communicating clearly with customers about vehicle conditions and maintenance needs. Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Conduct diagnostic testing using multiple systems to identify issues
- Replace parts and components including brakes, suspension, and engine parts
- Carry out safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Complete preventive maintenance and tune-ups for optimal performance
- Manage high daily vehicle service volume (8 vehicles)
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members while working primarily independently
- Maintain and utilize required tools for repairs
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and safety compliance
- Experience with engine repair, brake systems, and suspension repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and time management skills
- Effective customer service and communication abilities
