Pathology Assistant – Travel or Local Assignment
Facility: CHA Cambridge Hospital – Cambridge, MA
Specialty/Dept: Cytology/Histology (7003)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (10/20/2025 – 01/17/2026)
Shift: 8-hour Days (40 hours/week)
Pay Package:
- Travel Weekly Gross: $4,900.20
- $1,813.20 taxable
- $3,087 non-taxable stipends
- Local Weekly Gross: $4,000
- Hourly W2: $100 | OT: $150
Job Summary:
CHA Cambridge Hospital is seeking an experienced Pathology Assistant for a 13-week contract at CHA Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, MA. This role involves supporting the pathology team in specimen preparation, gross examination, and assisting in surgical pathology and autopsy services.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree (required)
- ASCP Certification (must be active at time of submission)
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
- EPIC EMR experience – highly preferred
- Travel experience – preferred
- Must work every other major holiday
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
- Local candidates accepted (50-mile radius rule applies; local rate will apply)
Schedule Details:
- Day shift options: 8:00a–4:30p or 8:30a–5:00p
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- No on-call
- No block scheduling permitted
