What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fundraising Intern (Volunteer/Unpaid) – Nonprofit position at Midas Football Academy?
We are seeking a mission-driven Fundraising Intern to support donor outreach, sponsorship development, and fundraising operations. This is an unpaid internship at this time; however, performance-based stipends may be offered when milestones are achieved, and resources allow.
Responsibilities
Research and build prospect lists (individual donors, businesses, foundations)
Support sponsorship outreach and follow-up (email/phone/LinkedIn)
Assist with fundraising campaigns and community partnerships
Help organize donor and sponsor tracking (spreadsheets/CRM)
Draft outreach messages, thank-you notes, and sponsor updates
Support planning and execution for our Fall 2026 Gala-style fundraising event (September 2026)
Qualifications
Current college student or recent graduate (marketing, nonprofit management, communications, business, public health, etc.)
Strong written communication and professionalism
Reliable and consistent follow-through
Comfortable with basic spreadsheets and organizing information
Passion for youth development, community impact, and nonprofit work
