Oil Change Tech/Tire Tech- Experience NOT REQUIRED:
At Midas we are locally owned and operated, providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through State Certifications, ASE and/or years of automotive repair experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct Oil change and Tire Changes/Flat Repair
- Minimizes customer complaints through the provision of thorough yet time-effective repair services.
- Able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers.
- Assists in ensuring that proper inventory is kept at the shop, that shop equipment is maintained in top working condition
- Adhere to shop safety and environmental practices.
- Operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
Your duties will include:
- Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, such as creating work orders, arrange bookings and communicating them to the technicians, and providing estimates to the customer and finalizing invoices.
- Interface with customers and service technicians to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Determine need for repairs and maintenance by relying on information relayed by top-notch technicians who perform thorough vehicle inspections, by questioning customers thoughtfully, and by researching vehicle history and other forms of computer information.
- Stream line work flow in the automotive repair shop
- Performing other store duties and functions as directed by management.
- Verify that work is properly diagnosed and performed.
- Use telephone, Email and other means to communicate with customers and vendors.
