Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Working directly with customers on collection activity for delinquent consumer and small business loan accounts in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements
- Communicating with customers professionally and tactfully regarding repayment options
- Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation related to collection activity
- Supporting senior recovery staff with repossession, legal, and recovery processes as assigned
- Monitoring assigned accounts and escalating issues as appropriate
- Maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment in sensitive situations
- Previous experience in collections, customer service, banking, or a related field preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to remain professional, persistent, and detail-oriented
- Ability to follow established procedures and regulatory requirements
