What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at MidAmerica Basement Systems?
MidAmerica Basement Systems, a regional leader in the foundation repair, basement waterproofing, and concrete leveling industry, is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. In this role you will travel to our customer's homes on pre-set appointments to inspect and maintain existing systems we've installed and provide additional solutions they need to fix and protect their homes.
Our Service Technicians are the super heroes of our company! They are there to save the day when systems fail, follow through with annual maintenance appointments to keep things functioning as intended, and have the opportunity to upsell products and services to our homeowners to best take care of their needs. As a Service Technician, you will have a rewarding role helping people maintain the health and safety of their homes while getting the opportunity to earn additional income through commissions for products sold and incentives for the work you perform.

What We Need for this Role
- 1 years of sales experience preferred but not required
- Construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to enter a crawlspace, lift up to 75 pounds, walk, climb a ladder, kneel, and crawl
- Strong listening, closing, and follow-up skills
- Ability to travel within our 3 hour service area
- A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Skill in operating computer software (we will train you)
