Midwest Direct helps our clients efficiently create and deliver their print, mail and digital messages with the best audience data for targeted and accurate deliverability. When you add in our additional delivery channels, such as email, Informed Delivery, and online advertising, we average over two million messages a day delivered to mailboxes, inboxes and online.
Midwest Direct is looking for Mail Sorters!
Job duties include:
- Working on a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Removing mail from the machine and sorting it into the appropriate locations.
- Checking for accuracy in bar codes and zip codes.
- Putting the correct mail in the right mail tray
- Perform all additional duties as required
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 8am through 4:30pm
Compensation:
- Base pay of $14.00 hourly
- Production incentives provides the opportunity to make up to $14.50 hourly!

Qualifications:- Basic comprehension & understanding of the English language to be able to follow safety protocols and other operational directions.
- The ability to see and read numbers & letters with proficiency and understanding
- The ability to be dependable and reliable
- Mailroom, machine operation experience or equivalent experience preferred
Physical demands and abilities:
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations
- The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Attention to detail a must.
MUST be able to pass criminal background check and drug test!
