Role Description CNC Machinist – Night Shift role is a full-time, on-site position located in Kaukauna, WI, working 36 hours per week while being paid for 40 hours. Schedule options are either Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday 3p - 3a OR Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday 3p - 3a.
Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines for turning and milling large components according to specifications and production schedules. The machinist will interpret blueprints and work instructions, perform necessary adjustments to tooling and offsets, and ensure parts meet dimensional and quality requirements. The role also involves conducting routine machine checks, maintaining a clean and safe work area, completing production documentation, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet delivery and quality targets on the night shift.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and Machinery to safely set up, run, and monitor CNC equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machining and Milling to produce precise, high-quality parts from drawings and work instructions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to measure, inspect, and verify parts to meet customer and company standards.
- Experience with CNC lathes and/or mills, including setup and basic programming adjustments, is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and follow standard operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment and training in machining or a related trade are beneficial.
