Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laborer to assist our chimney service technicians with a variety of residential projects. This position involves hands-on work including chimney repairs, fireplace installations, maintenance, and general job site support. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist technicians with chimney repairs, rebuilds, and masonry work
- Help with fireplace and insert installations
- Perform chimney sweeping and basic maintenance tasks
- Set up and clean up job sites before and after work
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Climb ladders and work on roofs when required
- Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment cleanliness
Qualifications:
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred (but not required)
- Comfortable working at heights and on roofs
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
