Mid Tenn Trailer Repair is hiring a Senior Mobile Trailer Technician at $40 per hour, plus production bonuses and benefits, to help grow our Memphis operation. We have an established customer base and work ready to be completed. We need an experienced professional who can take ownership of a service truck, handle repairs independently, and deliver quality work.

The Work

You’ll perform mobile commercial trailer repairs at customer locations throughout the Memphis market. Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair trailer air brakes, ABS, electrical systems, suspension, and wheel ends
  
  
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
  
  
• Repair and replace floors, doors, roofs, side panels, posts, and rails
  
  
• Complete structural repairs, welding, and fabrication
  
  
• Identify additional repair needs and communicate them clearly
  
  
• Document labor, parts, repair notes, and photos in our service software
  
  
• Keep your service truck organized, stocked, and ready to work
  
  
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and leadership
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

This is a senior position for a technician who can work independently and handle more than routine maintenance.

Our ideal candidate has:

• A strong background in commercial trailer repair
  
  
• Experience operating independently in a mobile service environment
  
  
• Strong diagnostic skills and sound repair judgment
  
  
• Experience with structural trailer repairs, welding, and fabrication
  
  
• The ability to complete quality repairs efficiently and safely
  
  
• Reliable attendance, clear communication, and pride in their work
  
  
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable for company vehicle operation
  
  
• Willingness to work outdoors, travel between customer locations, and assist in nearby markets when needed
  
  

Prior lead technician or foreman experience is a plus. You should also be comfortable helping less experienced technicians when needed.
