Mid-Tec, an industrial contractor company in Anderson, MO, is seeking to hire a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have excellent computer skills, be fluent in Microsoft Office and Project, have strong communication skills with experience in working with vendors and subcontractors.
Duties include:
- Evaluation of bid packages, analysis of vendor bids, and creation of commitments to subcontractors and suppliers
- Researching permits and licensing requirements for jobs
- Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, specifications, contracts, and regulatory compliance documentation
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and coordinated
- Manage project timelines to meet critical deadlines
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to establish delivery and start schedules, updating as needed
- Tying up bids, proposals, and change orders
- Provide updated progress reports on projects based on customer requirements
- Identify and resolve issues that may affect project performance or customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Ability to interact and negotiate with customers and end users
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Projects
- Experience in Construction/Construction Estimating
- Experience with Microsoft Office and computer networking
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Position is Monday-Friday 8-5, with full benefits offered and salary starts between $70,000-$80,000 per year for Entry-Level Project Manager
