About the Role:
As a Yard Team Member, you play a key role in the final stage of our precast concrete manufacturing process. You’ll be responsible for handling, moving, loading, and staging large concrete construction components—such as precast walls, columns, slabs, and beams—ready for delivery to the job site. This is a physically active, hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment to move and position precast concrete products.
• Load and unload concrete construction materials from trailers and throughout the yard.
• Follow layout instructions to place vertical and horizontal concrete structures accurately.
• Comply with all construction site safety standards and promote a culture of safety.
• Work independently after receiving direction; minimal supervision required.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50–100 pounds standing, climbing or kneeling up to 10 hours a day.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth yard operations and timely shipments.
• Identify and report equipment or product issues to supervisors.
• Assist in training new employees on safe and efficient yard operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe precast yard environment.
Qualifications:
• Experience in construction, precast concrete, or a related industrial environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions or blueprints.
• Comfort working in outdoor environments year-round.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
