Our 71 year old company is owned by 29 independent Farm, Ranch & Home retailers (“Members”) who operate approximately 700 stores across the US and Canada with combined annual sales in excess of 7.5 billion dollars. POSITION OVERVIEW:
Mid-States is seeking a talented IT professional to help design, implement, and support our environment. From managing switches and routers to assisting end users with day-to-day needs. This role is hands-on, varied, and essential to keeping our business running smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and maintain both cloud and internal network infrastructure
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
- Monitor and maintain needed updates across the network
- Monitor and ensure network security and connectivity
- Resolve problems reported by end users
- Define, manage, and automate network policies and procedures
- Administer servers, desktops, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, handhelds, smartphones, software deployment, and other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean environment. The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping and significant fine finger dexterity.
