About the Role:
The Stripping Crew Team Member is responsible for the removal and transfer of all pre-cast concrete pieces. They utilize concrete saws, overhead cranes, and various measuring tools to ensure pieces of pre-cast concrete are the correct size needed and moved to the correct area in the plant. The Stripping Crew Team Member works in all-weather climates and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job while meeting company safety, quality, and productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow blueprints, measure, and utilize concrete saw to cut to ensure proper size of pre-cast pieces.
- Utilize overhead cranes and teamwork to remove pieces of concrete from the forms.
- Transfer pieces of concrete from trailers to proper location.
- Maintain and cleanup work area during and after removal of concrete pieces.
Qualifications:
Required
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Crane Certification
Forklift Certification
ACI or similar construction certification
1 years of general labor experience
1 years of experience working in the construction field
1 years of experience working in the concrete field
