Job Summary
The Outside Sales Representative will manage and grow an established book of business throughout the assigned territory, develop new business opportunities, and represent Mid-States Bolt & Screw professionally in the field and within the community.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow an established book of business throughout the assigned territory.
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
- Work closely with Inside Sales and Operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service and order accuracy.
- Meet with customers regularly to understand their needs and provide product solutions.
- Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and maintain ongoing customer communication.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of industrial fasteners, tools, and related products.
- Represent Mid-States Bolt & Screw professionally in the field and within the community.
Qualifications
- Previous outside sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution, fasteners, MRO, or related industries.
- Self-motivated individual with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to manage existing accounts while actively developing new business.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working independently and managing territory activity.
- Proficient computer and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
