Position Overview
The Tire & Auto Service Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of tire-related and basic automotive maintenance services. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, takes pride in their work, and is committed to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for cars, SUVs, and light trucks along with TPMS service
- Perform basic automotive services, including oil changes, fluid checks, battery installation, and filter replacements
- Conduct general inspections and alert management to safety concerns or additional service recommendations
- Use proper equipment and follow all safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Interact with customers and team members in a professional and courteous manner
- Opportunities are available to candidates who show proficiency in basic services to be trained in other service areas, such as: alignments, brakes, and steering & suspension service
Qualifications
- Prior experience in tire service or automotive repair preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to adhere to safety and quality standards
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work well with a team
