What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/ Back-Up Delivery Driver position at Mid-State Tire Distributor Inc?
We are seeking a Full-Time Warehouse employee that can also be a back up Delivery Driver to join our team! Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a clean MVR record.
Our warehouse duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in loading and unloading of tires
- Storing and pulling tires and other products
- Comfortably lift between 75-100lbs
- Safely operate an order picker and other powered equipment.
Our delivery specialists perform duties that include, but are not limited to:
- Safely operate an 18-20ft box truck
- Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload vehicle
- Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle
- Maintain organized and completed paperwork from route.
Qualifications:
- Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields preferred
- Clean driving record
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work in a fast paced and detail-oriented environment
- Ability to communicate well with customers
- Be personally responsible and self-motivated
- Be sales minded and customer service focused
