Job Summary
The Masonry Construction Estimator will estimate, bid, and help secure construction projects. They will be responsible for estimating project teams, obtaining material quotes, managing resources, and the buy-out of the construction projects.
Duties
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the estimating process
- Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects quotes meet requirements to correctly interpret plans
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings with foremen
- Utilize construction estimating software for projects
- Conduct on-site visits if neccessary
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards in quote
- Handle project documentation and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Masonry Construction estimator or similar role
- Proficiency in project tools such as Tradesman, Procore, or similar software
- Good understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of construction estimating and cost control principles
Salary : $52,000 - $65,000
