You'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment and supporting the upkeep of two company facilities. No two days are exactly alike, and you'll have the freedom to take ownership of your work while helping keep our operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
- Troubleshoot equipment problems to minimize downtime
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and improvements
- Help improve machine reliability and overall plant efficiency
- Perform general building maintenance at two locations
- Maintain and repair:
- Electrical systems
- HVAC equipment
- Plumbing
- Doors, windows, docks, gutters, and other building components
- Coordinate with outside contractors, vendors, service providers, alarm companies, and inspectors
- Maintain maintenance records and communicate service needs using company computer systems
- Experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Comfortable using computers for maintenance tracking and vendor communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights when necessary
- A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
