Job Summary
Mid State Carts is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our service and production shop. This role is responsible for managing technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining shop cleanliness, and keeping repair and production timelines on track. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and confident in leading a crew.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, lead, and support a crew of shop employees
- Perform quality control on all carts before they leave the shop
- Ensure all repair jobs are completed quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
- Monitor workflow and daily production schedules
- Identify and resolve shop issues to keep operations running smoothly
- Provide regular updates to the General Manager throughout the day
- Uphold company standards for professionalism and customer satisfaction

Qualifications
- Experience managing or supervising a team (required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Solid communication and leadership skills
- Shop or mechanical environment experience preferred
- Golf cart knowledge is not required, but is a plus
