Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of boilers, pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to diagnose faults accurately.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks following detailed schematics and technical manuals to extend equipment lifespan.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as burners, pumps, gauges, and control systems with precision.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system performance logs.
- Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance schedules that minimize downtime and optimize system efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience working as an industrial mechanic or in a field service role specializing in boiler or HVAC/R systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and diagnostic equipment used in boiler and mechanical system repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Prior experience working with industrial boilers, pumps, valves, or related mechanical systems is highly preferred.
