Route Delivery Driver/ Sales

Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles along assigned routes, ensuring timely deliveries to retail locations or customers.
• Load and unload products with heavy lifting as needed, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
• Engage with customers professionally to provide excellent service, answer questions, and promote additional products through upselling techniques.
• Verify pricing accuracy and process transactions efficiently during delivery stops.
• Conduct route planning and organization to maximize efficiency and meet daily delivery targets.
• Merchandize products at customer locations, ensuring proper display and stock levels.
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, sales transactions, route logs, and inventory levels for accountability and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class B with Hazmat endorsement) with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving preferred.
• Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
• Proven ability to upsell products and enhance sales through persuasive techniques.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, loading/unloading cargo, and extended periods of driving or standing.
• Exceptional organizational skills for route planning and time management.
