What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millwright Maintenance Mechanic position at Mid-South Milling?
Job Summary
MSM is looking for an experienced maintenance tech/millwright to perform industrial maintenance at our facility.
Essential Duties
· Follow and perform regular and preventative maintenance schedules on all of our equipment: motors, bearings, bucket elevators, hydraulics, pumps, compressors, drag and screw augers
· Fabrication
· Welding
· Troubleshoot equipment problems
· Comply with all company policies and comply with all Federal, state and local laws.
· Report any quality or feed safety problems to a member of Plant Quality Assurance Team
· Help with tractor and hopper bottom trailer maintenance
**Need applicant with extensive Bucket Grain Elevators and Metal Fabrication experience**
· Additional Duties
· Operate a forklift or other machinery used in the warehouse
· Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
· Ability to lift 60 pounds and climb ladders
· Must have own tools
· Proficient in welding, fabrication and all around industrial maintenance
·
3 phase experience a plus
