CNC Mill Setup Operator (Job Shop)

Mid-South Machine is hiring 2 experienced CNC Mill Setup Operators for a job shop environment. This is a hands-on role that involves setting up CNC Mills to run parts that meet print specifications.
Schedule and Work Environment
- Full-Time, on-site position
- Day shift (6:00am to 4:30pm) 10 hour days
- Climate Controlled Shop (Heat and AC)
- Job shop environment - variety of part types and quantities
Responsibilities
- Setup CNC Mill (tooling, fixtures, etc.)
- Operate CNC Mill for part quantities
- Machine parts to print specifications
- Perform daily preventative machine maintenance
- Maintain a clean work space around machines
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of proven CNC Mill Setup experience
- Knowledge of Fanuc and conversational controls
- Ability to read prints
- Ability to read and use calipers and micrometers
- Experience with tolerances of at least /- 0.001
- Ability to safely operate fork lift
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Okuma, Mori, Haas, Fadal Mills
