Camp Counselor / Lead Instructor – Young Innovators Camp (Mid-South Gifted Academy)
Mid-South Gifted Academy is hiring Camp Counselors/Lead Instructors for our Young Innovators Camp, a hands-on summer experience for gifted, advanced, and creative learners.
The camp will hold weekly sessions from June 1 to July 16, and you can apply for all six or just some.
At Innovator Camp, students explore engineering, invention, and problem-solving through collaborative projects and creative challenges. Our counselors play a key role in creating a dynamic learning environment where curiosity, creativity, and innovation thrive.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on STEM and innovation activities
- Guide students through collaborative design and problem-solving challenges
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment
- Support daily camp activities and student experiences
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and teamwork
Ideal Candidates
- Enjoy working with gifted and advanced learners
- Have experience in education, STEM, camps, or childhood programs
- Are energetic, creative, and collaborative
