Job Summary
The Program Director is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, organizing and implementing systems, processes and programs needed to provide services in Choices, ECF Choices and DDA programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Works with General Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and ensure the quality of the program delivery system.
- Works with the General Manager on the program budgets on an ongoing and regular basis as needed.
- Oversees recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of employees and Family Model Contractors. Provides feedback, evaluation, motivation and direction to staff and contractors.
- Supervises, facilitates and/or participates, as needed, in the assessment and admission process.
- Supervises and monitors the quality of delivery of services and acts as an advocate for all persons supported.
- Ensure the programs meet the quality and licensure standards for all funding and monitoring entities.
- Is available during normal operating business hours and on-call after hours for incident and event reporting, for emergencies, and crisis management as needed.
- Develops and maintains effective, positive working relationships with all state and federal monitoring and funding entities, as well with all families of persons supported, and all other professional and community networks/resources.
- Obtains contracts and licenses for new services and ensures timely renewals for all existing licenses/services.
- Supervises and oversees all staff and contractor's performance, evaluations, and disciplinary measures.
- Responsible for the oversight of person supported personal funds, in accordance with internal policy and state and federal guidelines and requirements.
- Oversees and supervises all aspects of case management, including follow through of the supervision plan, ensuring ISP's and PCSP's are followed and implemented, ensuring the overall progress of outcomes and action steps and implementation plans. Acts as Program Coordinator in the absence of Program Coordinators.
- Responsible for implementing and following the rights afforded to person supported as set forth by federal and state regulations, as provided in Title VI, ADA, and set-forth by TennCare HCBS Setting Rules, and HIPAA rules and regulations for individual's privacy and confidentiality.
- Oversees and Ensures compliance for the Complaint/Conflict Resolution Process. This includes being the contact person for internal and external complaints, including Title VI complaints, responding in a timely manner in accordance with policy and ensuring a timely and fair resolution according to policy.
Qualifications/Requirements: The Program Director must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience, including working knowledge of DDA, Medicaid Waiver, TennCare, Department of Health, and Home and Community Based Services.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
