Position: An ideal candidate needs a high level of rapport with students of all ages, the ability to lead and partner with multiple teams, a strong understanding of online advising tools and systems, and the ability to foster student success and retention. This role regularly travels between North Platte, McCook and community campuses advising students area-wide. Responsibilities include:
- Advising students on program, transfer, and graduation requirements
- Assisting with educational and career goal setting
- Leading North Platte advising team
- Oversee advising software and assessment
- Working closely with academic deans and faculty on offerings and program requirements
- Collaborating on student retention and outreach initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required, master’s preferred, a minimum of two years’ experience in higher education is also preferred. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
