What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician position at Mid MO Diesel LLC?
We are seeking an Automotive Technician for our fast paced growing diesel pickup truck dealership reconditioning shop.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate fresh arrivals, List attention items, follow through start to finish on Recon process
- MVI inspections after recon process is complete
- Work with parts distributors, salvage yards, dealerships to obtain parts and outside service needs
- Keep work space clean and organized
- Work with management to maximize efficiency in workflow through the recon process on each vehicle
- Brakes, suspension, wheels and tires, lift kits, exhaust, and general mechanical reconditioning
Qualifications:
- Two years Automotive shop experience
- Valid driver license and clean driving record
- ASE Certifications are a plus
- Knowledge of light duty diesel pickup trucks Cummins, Duramax, Powerstroke
- Have or be able to immediately obtain Missouri MVI license (shop is already a station)
- Tools provided but it is a plus if you have your own
- Electrical diagnostic and repair expertise is a huge plus
- Experience with diesel injection systems, head gaskets, turbos, transmissions would be a big plus
Pay will be based on experience level and areas of expertise. This business is growing quickly. The right candidate will have the opportunity for advancement within the company as more technicians are added in the near future.

Work hours are 8-5 M-F no weekends or late nights
Paid holidays, 10 PTO days per year, HVAC shop, tools provided, employee discount on parts, work on your own vehicles during off hours.
Pay: $44,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
