Mortgage Loan Assistants are primarily responsible for assisting the Loan officer with the mortgage coordination process for secondary market loans.

Essential Duties

• Create new loan files by preparing documentation for disclosing and verification of documents within Encompass.
• Complete quality checks of loan checklists.
• Carries out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others in accordance with the Bank’s policies, practices and applicable laws.
• Communicate with loan officers in a courteous and professional manner to provide accurate and timely documents to our loan customers.
• Stay current on all products, software and regulation changes through training.
•  Knowledge of conventional and government loan programs as they apply to residential loans..
•  Knowledge of Residential bank loan policies and procedures and loan products.
• Assist in marketing and social media with the loan officer assigned.

Education and Expereince

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Prior related loan processing experience preferred. 

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. 

Salary : $18 - $30
