Position Overview:
The Entry-Level Millwork Fabricator will assist with the production of custom wood components, cabinetry, and architectural millwork. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, willing to learn, and excited to build a long-term career in fabrication.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with fabrication of custom millwork components
- Operate basic woodworking tools and machinery (training provided)
- Read and follow shop drawings and measurements
- Perform sanding, assembly, and finishing tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and shop protocols
- Work collaboratively with fabricators and lead carpenters
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interest in woodworking, carpentry, or fabrication
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous shop or construction experience is a plus, but not required
