Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages with consistency and care.
- Describe products and offer recommendations to customers.
- Provide outstanding customer service and help maintain a warm, community-focused environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and request reorders when needed.
- Accurately operate the cash register and ensure the drawer balances at shift end.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Prepare and serve food while following agency policy, food safety standards, and Health Department guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with all customers.
- Ability to create a positive and inviting environment for every guest.
- Must successfully complete training in food preparation, food service skills and customer service procedures.
- Must meet Medium Work physical requirements: able to exert 20–50 pounds of force occasionally and 10–25 pounds frequently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coffee shop experience, or one year of experience in retail sales, including customer service, cash handling, product facing, and maintaining store cleanliness.
