POSTING NOTICE
Interventionist for Adult Ed/GED
Genesee County Jail Site
Deadline Date: January 24, 2024 or until filled
Beginning Date: Immediately
Salary: $25.00 per hour/6 hours per day /180 days (pro-rated)
Qualifications:
1. Must meet ESSA Standards and provide documentation
2. Possess an understanding of the At-risk populations and willingness to work in the school program at the Genesee County Jail or other sites as needed.
3. Have strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer literacy. Understanding of Google Docs and Excel preferred.
4. A basic understanding of Adult Education and GED Testing.
5. Be self-directed, goal oriented, organized, and have the ability to work effectively with other people.
6. Support pre and post TABE testing of participants.
7. Support teachers with development and compilation of educational materials for students.
8. Such alternatives to above qualification as the Mt. Morris Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
