Fundamental Responsibilities:
Provide support services to students in a safe and respectful environment
Assist with food service operations during school hours
Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents regarding student needs and concerns
Detailed Responsibilities:
Greet students and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Monitor student behavior and provide guidance when necessary
Assist with meal service, including serving food and cleaning up after meals
Participate in training sessions to improve job performance and stay updated on policies and procedures
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure student success
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Working Conditions:
This position is based in Elms Elementary, within the Swartz Creek Community School District. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to changing circumstances as needed.
