Project Manager/ Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the preparation of cost estimates for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and project management, with a proven ability to negotiate contracts and control costs effectively. Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
• Utilize software tools to enhance the accuracy of estimates.
• Conduct thorough reviews of project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
• Monitor project budgets and implement cost control measures to ensure profitability.
• Provide training and mentorship to Supervisors on best practices in construction.Skills
• Strong negotiation skills with experience in managing contracts effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies.
• Familiarity with cost control techniques and financial management within the construction industry.
• Previous experience in construction site environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in preparing estimates.
