Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant with experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, works well in a team-oriented environment, and truly enjoys working with children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hygiene care to pediatric patients
- Provide excellent patient care before, during, and after dental procedures
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized operatory
- Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Ensure patient comfort and manage patient behavior as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling if necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant (pediatric experience strongly preferred)
- Florida Dental Radiography Certification (Required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Passion for working with children and creating a positive dental experience
