Duties
- Supervise daily cash vault activities, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of cash and valuables
- Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in processing deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers
- reconcile cash transactions using banking software and industry-standard financial software
- Ensure compliance with banking regulatory requirements and financial industry standards for cash management and security
- Lead a team of vault staff, providing training on fraud prevention, industry regulations, and operational protocols
- Conduct regular audits of vault operations
- Maintain detailed records of all cash movements, shift reports, incident logs, and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in banking operations, cash handling, or vault management with a strong understanding of financial services industry standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking software for processing transactions and reconciling accounts
- Strong analytical skills with basic math proficiency including retail math, debits & credits, and 10-key typing skills
- Excellent customer relationship management skills to support internal teams and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in relationship management and team supervision
