Estimating Coordinator
The Estimating Coordinator is an entry-level role within the Estimating Department responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate and timely electrical construction estimates. This position focuses on developing foundational skills in quantity takeoffs, document management, estimating software, and basic electrical construction concepts.

Estimating Coordinator
The Estimating Coordinator is an entry-level role within the Estimating Department responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate and timely electrical construction estimates. This position focuses on developing foundational skills in quantity takeoffs, document management, estimating software, and basic electrical construction concepts.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assist estimators in preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
- Perform basic quantity takeoffs for materials, devices, conduit, and systems under supervision.
- Gather, organize, and maintain data related to labor, materials, equipment, and time.
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications with guidance to develop an understanding of project scope and intent.
- Download, organize, and manage bid documents, plans, addenda, and specifications.
- Assist with assembling estimates, including organizing vendor quotes and backup documentation.
- Learn and apply Accubid and other estimating software tools.
- Maintain well-organized estimate files to support review, auditability, and future reference.
- Support the estimating team during active bid periods by responding to requests and meeting deadlines.
- Perform work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Other duties as assigned to aid in company and professional success.
- 0-2 years of experience in construction, electrical, engineering, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems or demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under supervision and independently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Developing proficiency with Accubid, Bluebeam, and other related estimating software.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Ability to follow direction, accept feedback, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Orderly and systematic in work.
- See details and recognize errors, implementing corrective action as needed.
- Use logical procedures to complete work.

- Compensation for the Estimating Coordinator role ranges from $56,000 to $74,500 annually depending on experience
- Annual bonus potential
