Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and outgoing Outreach Coordinator to expand awareness of our services among referring veterinary clinics and complementary pet-related businesses. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a proactive approach to relationship-building, and a passion for engaging with the veterinary and pet care community.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Relationship Building:
- Actively visit and engage with general practice veterinary clinics, emergency hospitals, groomers, pet stores, trainers, and other relevant businesses to promote our services.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with referring veterinarians and key stakeholders.
- Educate partners on how our clinic can support their clients’ urgent care needs.
Marketing & Outreach:
- Distribute marketing materials, referral packets, and promotional items.
- Represent the clinic at industry events, networking meetings, and community activities.
- Coordinate lunch-and-learns, presentations, and in-clinic visits to increase referral partnerships.
Tracking & Reporting:
- Maintain records of outreach efforts, contacts made, and referral trends.
- Provide regular reports on outreach success and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership to adjust strategies based on market feedback.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in sales, marketing, or outreach is preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated and highly organized, with strong time management skills.
- Confidence in networking and relationship-building with veterinary professionals.
- Ability to travel throughout the area (must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license).
- Comfortable working independently while meeting outreach goals.
- Basic understanding of the veterinary industry or willingness to learn quickly.
Compensation & Benefits
