Role Description The Medical Assistant will support daily clinical operations in a full-time, on-site role located in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, recording vital signs, and assisting with dermatologic procedures and treatments. The Medical Assistant will manage medical records, update patient histories, handle prior authorizations, and support clinical documentation. Additional tasks include coordinating patient flow, providing patient education on skin care and treatment instructions, and assisting with front-office duties such as scheduling and checking in patients as needed.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Medical Assisting, including supporting examinations and procedures in a medical office setting.
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology, particularly related to dermatology and general medical conditions.
- Experience working in a Medical Office environment, including basic administrative tasks and coordination of patient appointments.
- Skill in providing direct Patient Care, including vital signs, patient intake, and clear communication of instructions.
- Ability to accurately manage Medical Records, including electronic health records, documentation, and confidentiality compliance.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and current certification or registration preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with infection control and safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a small practice setting.
- Prior experience in dermatology or outpatient specialty care is beneficial but not required.
