Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Washington CH, Ohio. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Construction and is responsible for managing all phases of assigned construction projects—from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and skilled in balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all project management activities related to steel tank construction projects.
  • Attend and lead pre-construction and progress meetings with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform material take-offs and assist the Sales and Estimating Team with project budgeting and cost evaluations.
  • Purchase job materials, coordinate and contract subcontractors and rental equipment, and ensure timely delivery of all components.
  • Generate and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with deadlines and client expectations.
  • Prepare and submit shop drawing submittals, track review progress, and obtain final approvals.
  • Develop and maintain project load lists and coordinate crew activities for efficient on-site operations.
  • Assist with monthly billings, review and update monthly progress variance reports, and track financial performance.
  • Conduct project closeouts, ensuring that all documentation, warranties, and deliverables are completed and submitted accurately.
  • Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders to identify and resolve issues promptly.


Travel & Work Schedule

This role requires periodic travel (approximately one to two days per week depending on level of construction activity) to visit job sites, attend meetings, and coordinate project activities. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, though flexibility is expected to accommodate occasional project-related needs that may arise outside standard hours.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • PMP Certification preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, or equivalent).
  • Ability to travel regionally as required.
