Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support clinical operations within the outpatient clinic. This role requires a versatile individual capable of providing exceptional patient service, performing clinical procedures, and supporting administrative tasks within a fast-paced medical environment. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring efficient patient care and smooth clinic operations.
Duties
- Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Support physicians with procedures including medication administration, injections, and basic life support when necessary
- Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems accurately to document patient information and clinical notes
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of clinical areas
Experience
- Prior experience in clinic setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
- Experience working with EHR systems in outpatient settings
- CPR Certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient service and support diverse clinical needs across different specialties
