You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN in the ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT (200) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.

Qualifications:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience with Satellite Communications systems with demonstrated proficiency in the areas of Fleet Technical Assistance, Assessments and Inspections, Repair Recommendations, Repair Oversight and Logistics Support
  • Experience utilizing a broad technical knowledge of naval shipboard systems and components through experience in ship maintenance, repair, operation, or troubleshooting. Shows an understanding of shipboard equipment testing and assessments, knowledge of design, maintenance, safety and operation of equipment and systems, knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and NAVSEA's policies and direction for the management of an acceptable quality assurance organization.
  • Experience understanding of financial, administrative, and technical requirements as they relate to broad management of engineering and technical programs.
  • Experience providing oral & written presentations that explain strategy, negotiate positive outcomes, resolve complex program issues, and provide detailed recommendations. Basic knowledge of computer application programs, statistical spreadsheet charts, presentation software, and word processing applications.
