What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Mid-Atlantic Packaging Co.?
Benefits:
Location: Dover, DE
Position: Full Time, Monday - Friday
About Us:
For over 40 years, Mid-Atlantic Packaging has partnered with independent retailers to help them stand out through thoughtful packaging and intentional branding. From custom shopping bags to specialty boxes and tissue, we support businesses that care deeply about how their brand shows up in the world.
As a second-generation, family-owned company, we’re known for exceptional customer service, reliable quality, and long-term relationships built on trust.
With our customer base continuing to grow, we’re looking for a designer who sees custom packaging not just as a product, but as an opportunity to create work that is considered, well-crafted, and worthy of the brands our customers have built.
The Role:
As our Graphic Designer, you’ll work at the center of what we do—converting brand assets into custom packaging that reflects the care our customers put into their own businesses. This role is part creative, part technical: you’ll be designing for real production environments, which means print specs matter, but so does having a good eye and the confidence to use it. You’ll collaborate closely with our sales team and customers to ensure the finished artwork reflects the brand they’ve worked hard to build. You’ll also play a supporting role in developing marketing materials that help us reach new audiences and tell our own story.
This is a full-time position well-suited to a designer who enjoys variety, takes craft seriously, and finds it satisfying when a finished product looks exactly right.
Responsibilities:
- 401(k)
- Company parties
- Competitive salary
- Employee discounts
- Free food & snacks
- Paid time off
- Parental leave
- Profit sharing
- Training & development
- Wellness resources
