Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant for Newport News/Hampton- Full-Time
Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care has recently added several communities throughout the Newport News/Hampton area. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Providers to join our growing team in the beautiful Hampton Roads region of Virginia. We are a group of 170 providers currently serving 150 Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Continuous Care Retirement Communities for over 25 years.
We pride ourselves in providing exceptional care to our residents and facilities. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, treat and manage psychopharmacological treatments for individuals with mental health disorders, ensuring patient-centered care.

Qualifications:
· Requires licensing in the State of Virginia.
· Experience working with the geriatric population (preferred)
· Masters degree with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records systems
- Must possess effective communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and facility staff
