Job Summary
Golf car distributor located in Farmingdale looking for a seasonal delivery driver to handle pick-ups and deliveries of golf cars and large utility vehicles.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles. (1/2, 3/4, and 1-Ton pickups)
- Ability to properly connect and operate trailers of varying sizes, ranging from 8-20'
- Ability to properly load and secure all vehicles to ensure safe transport
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedule demands.
- Deliver vehicle to designated locations, while providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction.
- Verify all delivery and/or pick-up details, obtain signatures when required, and maintain consistent, accurate documentation per company policies.
- Conduct routine pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper safety and vehicle function.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, load counts, and any incidents or issues encountered during routes.
Qualifications
- Previous trailer experience REQUIRED. This is non-negotiable.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with loading, manual handling, and workplace standards.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and safety practices on the road.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to move heavy loads safely while following proper techniques; physical stamina for moving heavier objects repeatedly throughout the day.
