What You'll Do: Conduct bridge inspections in accordance with NBIS, AASHTO, and DOT guidelines. Identify structural deficiencies, deterioration, and safety concerns. Document findings in detailed reports and assist in developing maintenance recommendations. Utilize advanced inspection tools such as drones, ultrasonic testing, and non-destructive evaluation methods.
Work closely with engineers, contractors, and government agencies to ensure compliance with safety standards. Manage inspection schedules, budgets, and client expectations to meet project deadlines. What You Bring to the Team: 5 years of experience in bridge inspection, structural assessment, or engineering. Certified Bridge Inspector (or actively pursuing certification).
Experience with DOT and NBIS inspection protocols and reporting. Proficiency in AASHTOWare, BrM (Bridge Management), AutoCAD, and other bridge inspection software. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field. Excellent communication and reporting abilities to document findings and collaborate with clients.
