Physical Therapist Assistant, Ste. Genevieve - Full-time OR Part-time OR PRN

Mid America Rehab is seeking a full-�me or part-�me Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to work in our
Ste. Genevieve, Missouri clinic.

Qualifica�ons:

Education: applicants must be a graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)

Licensure: Must be currently licensed, certified and/or credentialed, as required in the state of Missouri.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must have general knowledge of conditions and treatment principles for a
diverse number and types of diagnoses. The Physical Therapist Assistant must have excellent organiza�on,
�me management, and communica�on skills—both verbal and writen

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Patient care may include heavy lifting and
extensive bending and standing. Must demonstrate competency in equipment used for the delivery of
modalities. Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.

Responsibili�es:

Under the direc�on of a physician order, the Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct rehab care under
the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in accordance with applicable laws, regula�ons, and
Mid America Rehab standards. Implements a treatment program for pa�ents to improve movement and
manage their pain.

Ensure pa�ents are mee�ng their treatment goals in collabora�on with the PT, pa�ent, and caregivers,
when applicable. Implement the designated treatment plan and complete all related documenta�on and
record keeping regarding these services.

Func�ons under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapists and Clinic Director(s).

Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

Maintains confiden�ality of all proprietary and/or confiden�al informa�on.

Performs related du�es as assigned.

Performs du�es and responsibili�es in a manner consistent with the standards and values of Mid America
Rehab

Posi�on includes pa�ent care for all ages in outpa�ent se�ngs, and inpa�ent and home se�ngs as
needed.
