Part-Time Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Job Description:
Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a part- time expanded duty dental assistant to join our KY team. Mid America Health is hiring an expanded duty dental assistant to work part- time, 32 hours per week, in Pewee Valley, KY. This amazing dental assisting opportunity will work 4- days weekly, Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 2 pm. This expanded duty dental assistant position will work at the Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women located in Pewee Valley. This position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry that offers health insurance, including optional dental and vision coverage as well as generous paid time off and paid holidays. There are no late nights or weekends required for this position. Mid America Health offers competitive compensation of $20 per hour.

Duties:
Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction and prosthodontic care. No ortho, crown & bridge or endo required. Significant administrative duties are also required.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification required
- KY X-Ray Certification required
- CPR for Health Care Providers
